This is the dilema nursings homes face every day. While government is releasing prisoners so they don't get infected, they are forcing nursing home, who house our most vulnerable, to take the infected in. "Admit him, the DOH (Department of Health) will find a place for John." Some will echo Cuomos words, but covid has no vaccine and if you are forced admit "John" who you know has covid, he will infect others.
Would Rick Grimes bring a zombie into his home while he waited for government to relocate them? No way. But seriously, why did we take the Javits center? Couldn't the state move non covid patients there and free up hundreds of hospital beds for covid? Isn't that why we repurposed it in the first place?
One has to question the states thinking when they recklessly put the most vulnerable at risk. Especially when they set up an apparatus for this very occasion, and get angry when reporters ask them why they aren't using it.
